GAC FIAT Automobiles Co., Ltd. (GAC FIAT) incorporated on March 9, 2010, is a joint venture by Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (GAC) and Fiat Group Automobiles S.p.A. (FGA) on a 50:50 basis. The initial investment totals around 5 billion RMB, with registered capital of 1.8 billion RMB.
The Company is located in Changsha Economic& Technical Development Zone, covering over 700,000 m2. It is mainly engaged in the R&D, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales service of vehicle products, engines, and parts & components. Designed with the most updated concept, the plant will have an annual production capacity of 140,000 vehicles and 220,000 engines in Phase I and an annual capacity of 250,000 vehicles and 300,000 engines in the Phase II.
